Hey guys, i promised to explain how we already use our minds in relation to the brain, and how we can self develop, using them as tools. In the preceding article, we talked about the mind, mind control and brain training, all in introduction. If you missed it, read here.

It is supposed to be a good thing that your mind controls your actions, your life’s  decision. When an untrained mind is weighed down with the task of making constructive decisions, the brain would always act on wrong information. the fool that it is, it wouldn’t even fight it. You ll always make wrong decisions.

For example, you want to decide on a new shoe to buy at the shoe store. An untrained mind would be very indecisive. The reason is that the untrained mind is not focused. it will wander around many options making it difficult to make decisions.

‘AN ORDINARY MIND DOES LITTLE THINGS FOR BIG REWARD, AN UNTRAINED BRAIN DOES EVEN BIG THINGS FOR LITTLE REWARD’

This statement means that your brain is mostly fine. it is your mind that always needs fixing. All that your brain does is carry out the task. In the case of buying the shoes, it ll let you know if you have enough money to buy,it will tell you your size, then it will send signals to the motor parts of your body. You will then pick and go home.

This is how you already use your mind with your brain. the problem is that you do this with a sense of helplessness.

You need to get rational. Rational is used here to mean- take control.

Lets see 2 ways to focus the mind.

1. The mind calls your memories to action. All the brain does is keep the data. Hence the expressions, call to mind, come to mind, keep in mind, to have mind of, not call to brain, keep in brain. Since the brain keeps the information, you need to make sure the information needed is available as at when due, so when the mind tells the brain to remember what signal it should send, it will remember. Always keep this physical mind of yours in check.

To keep your memory straight, always task your brain. always learn new things and keep doing them. Try to keep as many numbers as possible in your memory. if you do that always your brain would see keeping decisions and development related tasks, as easy.

2. Always try to be conscious especially when you are awake. Drinking alcohol soils the brain. You can read this article to know more. This will help your mind to get the attention it needs to self develop.

THESE ARE NOT RULES, THEY ARE DEDUCTIONS FROM HUMAN BEHAVIOR

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT DEVELOPMENT OF SELF BUILDS SELF AWARENESS TO BETTER LIVING..

Humans have been drinking alcohol for a very long time.
A researcher at the university’s Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies. “It’s a pretty complicated little molecule.”
I v made this article as short as possible, so happy reading!
This same substance is used in domestic cleaning, it is also used as fuel, as germ killer, this chemical can be used to preserve human body parts for years in a jar. Now I m scared of this organic compound.
In recent times, the rate at which we consume alcoholic beverages have become really alarming.
It is actually your business what you ingest. But it is everyone’s business when it might kill you.

WHEN ALCOHOL ENTERS YOUR BODY, it is absorbed through the stomach then the small intestine. It then goes to the liver, from there it goes to the heart, muscles, brain( unlike public perception that the brain is developed at childhood, it is not. It still develops till teenage years. If a teen drinks, it affects the development of the brain. That’s why we have some extremely stupid teens.) Know that your body barely needs alcohol so the liver has to break it down.

HOW MUCH ALCOHOL DO YOU CONSUME?
One drink is any alcoholic beverage that contains 0.6 fl oz (14grams) of pure alcohol which takes one hour to process out of the body.
1/2 pint of liquor (gin, whisky, brandy…) Contains 4.5 drinks. 1pint of liquor contains 9 drinks, 750 ml contains 18 drinks, which is approximately an 18 hour processing task for the liver!
WHAT ALCOHOL DOES TO YOU WHEN YOU DRINK. it slows down your body processes. Your thoughts, speech movement become draggy.
This happens first because there is always a queue in alcohol processing at the liver junction. At this point it remains in your blood. It qualifies alcohol as a depressant. It works as a stimulant too by indirectly altering body processes like behavior, emotion …
GLUTAMATE is an example of a neurotransmitter that increase brain activity. Alcohol suppresses it and slows down brain activity.
GABA(gamma aminobutyric acid) is another one. It calms you down. Whenever you take sleeping tablets like Valium, it just increases the production of GABA in the brain so you get sedated, your heart rate reduces then you sleep off. If you take Valium with alcohol, you might die of low heart rate.
When you take alcohol it increases the production of GABA.
At this point you stagger, with uncoordinated swagger, you walk really slow, talk really slow,  think really rarely. To us we say you’ re drunk.

TO YOU, dopamine in your brain that is responsible for all excitements like playing, ingesting cocaine and well yes alcohol, will start working, which is what makes you feel good , in fact great.
I m sure you have never seen a sad drunk.
ALCOHOL GETS YOU DEHYDRATED
Usually if you drink 200ml of water you should get around that amount of urine. But if you take alcohol of 200ml you ll get over 320ml of urine. How does that happen? Where does the excess come from?
If your body realizes that you are getting dehydrated it ll sense the level of water and salt in your system it ll signal to a side of the pituitary gland and start pumping Anti-Diuretic Hormone ADH ( diuresis is a formal word for urination)
ADH stops urine so as to maintain the body fluid level.
Check out what alcohol does…it interfere with ADH to make sure you keep producing urine which dehydrates you.
An average built person of 80 kg weight has a urine output of like 80 ml per hour. whenever one takes alcohol it ll force the kidney to generate 120 ml extra urine on top of the 80 ml per hour making 200ml against 80ml!

You see now that if you take alcohol excessively even slightly excessively, it will most likely kill you in one of these ways:
-ANEMIA
-CANCER Cancer sites linked to alcohol use include the mouth, pharynx (throat), larynx (voice box), esophagus, liver, breast, and colorectal region
-CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES cardiomyopathy
-CIRRHOSIS
-DEMENTIA
-HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
-NERVE DAMAGE
-PANCREATITIS
-DIABETES
There are over 60 diseases associated with  alcohol ingestion.
All I’ m saying here is drink smart. Of you know you are not smart, Don’t drink!

Thanks for reading.
